I get your perspective as a youtuber, but social media is the least of Guitar Center's problems, lol. They should be more worried about the fact that most of their stores have terrible inventory, everything they have is a busted demo model that no one ever maintains yet they want full price for, and they don't pay their employees enough to care that customers even exist.

Things I love about the Strat, the neck pickup tone, the mid-position tone - all the incredible music that was played by many varied players who made Strats their own. Things I like, the position 2 & 4 tones. Things I don't love, the two horns and generally even the kind of awkward looking body shape. Things I really don't like, the bridge pickup tone and the tuning stability issues with Strat trem (though Jazzmasters, Jaguars make it look not so bad).

He's right about the case. I got a new 1975 Gibson Gold Top Deluxe, I got new when I was 15. It has that same purple interior. That was my first good guitar. I did sell it in Fall of 78 for College. I was short on cash to get through the first quarter. I didn't want to sell any of my other three, 1978 white Gibson Explorer with DiMarzios, stock 76, Gibson White Double neck and a 78 Dean ML, which was my main guitar at the time

Im a USA Jackson guy, but lately im really really really falling in love with a Korean S520EX...... It's a perfect guitar. And why isnt that trem everyone who loves Floyd's, favorite trem system PERIOD???

Most people that have decided they don't like PRS's probably don't own one and haven't played one. They just think the tradition of Gibson and Fender matters more. In a club environment with effects they probably wouldn't be able to pick one from the other, maybe they'd hear the thinness of a Fender single coil. People who aren't guitar players don't care and can't tell.

Gretsch's Filtertron-like pickups really are pretty dang sweet and they have three of the best fretboard inlays (Big Block, Halfmoon and Art Decos)

First time I heard Van Halen I was skipping school one of my mates had an 8 track tape player with Van Halen 's first on playing Eruption. I was an instant convert . Loved Eddie's play ever since. He was one of a kind.

I'm new to the Strat world. I've played in bands with MANY dedicated Strat guys,and I was always intrigued by the sound. So, I bought a Strat. It's a copy,but it's a Strat. I'm looking forward to all the mysterious attributes of this guitar. The layout hasn't changed since it's debut,so I guess it works!!!

I had to sell my heavy guitars because I became disabled with a bad back. I still play out but a nice six pounder would be beautiful.. That guitar sounds killer and you’re playing has gone up several notches.

Jimmy Page was an absolute genius! Totally unique, creative and complex compositions. And you're right, John Paul Jones deserves a lot more credit than he has received over the decades. He plays everything except drums contributing in a big way to so many of their masterpieces.

I had to pick up my G to see how I played it back in the 80s and the only real diff is I played the C t A t E t G I play/played in bar cords the tricky part is the timing of the walk up (it has to be precise) Unlike Billy I always did the walk where I know most times he may leave it out (live) and just do the upper part. But he's BG and as ya'll know a original bad ass.

You should do a video on my 78 LP pro, trogly showed it in a video, was in a flood, cool as hell. But I’ve had it for a few months and play it in my living room so not many cool stories yet lol

HE IS THE KING! THE FULL PACKAGE! There are shredders faster than him but i find his solos were tons more expressive than anybody else. Who will be the next full package who can play and WRITE great music that guitarists want to learn how to pay, and non players just enjoy the party vibe of his fret wizardry? 🤔

Being always the top selling Gibson since it was called a Les Paul, and the fact I've LOVED them ever since my first one back in '73 bought by Pops for me (currently enjoying the Tony Iommi Monkey SG Special and it is SICK); and the fact every darn player worth sh*t from Holdsworth to Marino, to Zappa to Hendrix to Pete, George, Derek,Tony, Angus, Buck Dharma, Kath and many more played them I'd say the only reason NOT to buy an SG is if you prefer drums, or ballet. 👀

Well there’s some great market research for Fender right there. Hopefully they listen and come out with some more varied options. But at the end of the day a Strat is a Strat and it’s iconic for a reason.

Robert I have question for you I really appreciate your videos by the way. I have two Grover Jackson Friedman guitars and am really joenzing for the vintage t like you have. I have an hss and vintage t with humbuckers by senior Grover. Ok so my question is do you play this axe live or record with it still?
